OUR STORY

Ziff’s Café and Bar opened its doors in December 2002 with a clear purpose: to create a dining experience that puts the customer first. Tired of the trend toward style over substance in the restaurant industry—where presentation often outweighed satisfaction—we wanted to offer something more genuine. Our concept was built around generous, flavour-packed meals, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and service that makes every guest feel valued.

From day one, we focused on creating a space that felt both contemporary and timeless. Every detail, from the layout to the lighting, was designed with comfort in mind, allowing guests to relax and truly enjoy their time with us. While we’re a small restaurant with seating for just 60 people, the quality of our food and the strength of our service have earned us a big reputation. Over the years, we’ve become one of the busiest and most beloved spots in Southland, proudly taking home multiple awards and welcoming back loyal customers time and time again.
